Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in the property investment and development industry

Working knowledge of IFRS

South African company Tax



Job Description:

Assist with budgeting and planning process.

Prepare monthly analysis of income and expenditure against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.

Implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for financial activities including financial accounting and reporting.

Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.

Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.

Assist property management team by tracking large project expense / developments / refurbishments.

Implement and maintain policies and procedures for the payment and recovery of municipal accounts as well as the monthly billing.

Form a good working relationship with heads of departments and Senior Executives and Non-Executives.

Assist the CFO / Property CEO with providing the necessary expertise and information when required for special projects.

Assist with the Due Diligence and analysis of all acquisitions or internal developments.

Periodic review of the departmental structure to proactively deal with changes in business needs and requirements.

Employ / reorganize where necessary.

Update and track monthly cash flows to ensure that there is adequate cash available for the current needs of the business.
