Our client, one of Africa’s leading property management companies, seeks to appoint a Personal Assistant who will provide executive and administrative support to the Regional Director. This person must be highly efficient in Administration and support, however happy to complete the general PA duties such as running of errands as well as assisting in a personal capacity too.
The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a PA/Administration role within the property sector. This fast paced environment will require a highly self-motivated, alert individual who would think on her/his feet, able to multi-task as well as be exceptionally organised and able to deal with the pressures of managing the administrative functions of a busy Executive.
Requirements:
• PA diploma or certification and (Commercial) Property Management experience would be considered an advantage
• Proficient on MS Office with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Drivers licence and own vehicle essential
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
• Excellent English and Afrikaans verbal and written communications skills

Key Performance Areas:
• Diary management - including but not limited to booking of appointments, interviews and meetings
• Creating and maintaining electronic and hardcopy filing systems
• Responding to e-mail correspondence
• Preparing letters and documentation for signature
• Flagging important dates and follow-ups and action accordingly
• Liaise with internal staff at all levels
• Supervise, coach and train; Driver and Reception personnel.
• Various marketing related responsibilities for the group
• Preparing Agendas and Minutes and distribution thereof. Follow-up on action status.
• Attending meetings as and when required.
• Collating of monthly management pack.
• Report writing and compiling of stats.
• Responsible for local and international travel arrangements, accommodation, car-hire or airport transfers, putting together travel itinerary’s and travel packs
• Various ad hoc duties
