Qualification:

NDip / N6 in Mechanical Engineering



Skills & Experience:

Prepare and maintain standard and detailed estimates

Prepare and maintain activity costing templates

Liaising with Suppliers

Knowledge of technical and commercial compliance

Draw up and maintain quotation templates for products

Preparing quotations

Detailed Bill of Materials

Proficient in Microsoft packages

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Proposals Technician in a Pressure Vessel Engineering environment



Job Description:

The individual will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the preparation of detailed proposals compliant with the request for tender. You will have to develop, prepare and maintain estimates and activity costing templates, as well as ensure technical and commercial compliance. On order acceptance, you will need to brief the Operations Team on the scope of work, technical and commercial requirements and the detailed costing. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Proposals Technician in a pressure vessel engineering environment.
