PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
From 4400 QAR up to 7935 QAR per month. 7935 QAR +/- 26 000 ZAR, 1800 EUR , 1600 GBP. Salary paid in QAR.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

High school certificate with 6 month In house training in Prosthetic & Orthotic fields.

Preferred Education: 2 years Diploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics

Required certification/licensure:

N/A

Minimum Experience: (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

One year working experience in prosthetic / orthotic or Technical Institution.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Summary:

Works under supervision & guidance of Prosthetist & Orthotist in manufacturing and delivering of effective & efficient prosthetic/Orthotic products.

Principal Accountabilities:

Assist Prosthetist & Orthotist in fabrication & assembly of prosthetic/ orthotic devices.
Perform bend alignment of the devices to the required specifications & fitting of appliance to the patients.
Responsible for finishing operations, repairs of prosthetic/ orthotic include the use of alignment transfer tools (Laser)
Documents all significant data and reviews with assigned CPO
Participates in patient and family education under supervision
Ensures disinfection procedures according to infection control policy and maintains records of the same
Maintains inventory and records of patient statistics as required which will be checked and monitored by the supervisor.
Responsible for ordering, storing and maintaining the unit supplies under the direction of the Supervisor
Assist in care and maintenance of unit equipment
Responsible for continuous development in practice by actively participating in regular departmental training
Contributes to quality assurance efforts of respective section by promoting high standards of safety and implementing related Employers policies and protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned by the chief.
