PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)

Single and family contracts available.

Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.

From 10300 QAR up to 18875 QAR per month. 18875 QAR +/- 94 00 Sudanese Pound/ 48 000 MAD / 600 000 DZD / 2000 OMR. Salary paid in QAR.

Free fully furnished accommodation provided.

Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.

Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

40 days paid annual vacation days.

End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:

Minimum: Minimum Education: A Bachelor's degree orits equivalent diploma in prostetics & orthotics from nationally approved College or University

Preferred: Preferred Education: Higher Degree (Masters/PhD) Certification in Specialized Area


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: 10 years experience in specialized clinical area in recognized facility

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent in English.

Job Summary

Within the mission, vision, and values of the Employer, the main role of Prosthetics-Orthotist Specialist involves:

Manages and supervises all clinical activities in specialty area.
Assures and maintains quality of care in specialized area of practice.
Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate clinical guidelines, specialized programs and ensure compliance.


Principal Accountabilities

Provides leadership to staff within the team through professional clinical supervision, training and appraisal.
Assesses and treats highly complex conditions of patient population in filed of of specialty.
Develops and implements programs in the field of specialty in conformity with evidence practice and experiences.
Attends ward rounds, outpatient clinics, case conferences, etc for the purpose of sharing clinical information with interdisciplinary team members.
Responsible for clinical auditing in areas of specialty.
Assists the Chief in developing , implementing and updating departmental clinical policies and procedures as well as protocols to meet the Employers International Standards.
Acts as an educational resource by preparing and organizing in-service program for Prosthetist &Orthtist and Other medical staff.
Provides expert consultation for members of the multidisciplinary team in an area of specialty.
Participates in ongoing personal and professional development through involvement internal and external development opportunities such as training in specialty area, workshop, seminar, conferences etc.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief.
