Responsibilities:

• Rendering compassionate care with dignity
• Administering medication as prescribed by doctor
• Identifying risky behaviour & ensuring the appropriate intervention
• Facilitating attendance of group & individual therapy
• Counselling family members with intervention strategies

Applicants for this position must have:

• Current SANC registration as a Registered Nurse with General Nursing & Psychiatry – 4yr Diploma or B.Cur Degree.
• Post basic in Psychiatry will be advantageous but not a necessity.
• Min 2yrs experience in Psychiatry to be a shift leader
• A passion for working with adolescents
