Our Client, based in Spartan, has a vacancy for a diligent and knowledgeable clerk in the Buying Department.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV
Grade 12 Certificate/valid driver’s license
Computer literate in Pastel Evolution Accounting, Excel Spreadsheets
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Stable career with CONTACTABLE LANDLINE REFERENCES
2 - 3 years’ work experience in the Creditors field
Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Month end reporting to Financial Accountant
Ensure accurate, timeous and complete processing of purchases
Collating paperwork – purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices and statements
Check stock item quoted prices against
Stock control levels
Reconciliations of accounts
Preparing, coding and attaching supporting documentation for EFT payments
Handling of queries and/or claims
Process GRVs/GRNs
