The purpose of a Purchasing Controller is to control spend of non-stock items and to ensure
efficiency in the process for procurement of non-stock and services

Evaluate pricing, payment terms, and quality and supplier performance.
Source new and additional suppliers and reduce risk and cost improvements.
Establish Service Level Agreements and conduct a Bi-annual and monthly meeting with suppliers
Source non-stock and services from suppliers.
Continued improvement of the process to identify possible cost-saving initiatives and
efficiency improvements.
Provide feedback on cost saving initiatives
Implement and maintain the purchasing process within the company
Monitor procurement compliance with BEE preferential procurement measurement
Assist with tenders as and when required
