A Cloud Development Center in Cape Town is looking for a Python Developer.

• IT Related Degree or Diploma is essential, Masters or Ph.D. (highly advantageous)
• 5+ years of software development experience with distributed, highly-scalable, multi-node environments
• Advanced ability to use C, C++ or Java as well as strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, shells, etc
• Strong understanding of virtual machine technologies, networking and storage systems
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• A background in developing large scale compute or storage products (advantageous)
• Advanced understanding of cluster architecture (advantageous)
