Compuscan, based in Stellenbosch, has a position available for a Quality Assurance Analyst

Key requirements:

• NQF Level 4- Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Information technology/ Information Systems
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Q.A.
Skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to follow instructions accurately and to the point
• Pay close attention to detail
• Respond to tasks and requests swiftly
• Basic SQL skills
• Test Analysis
• Test automation would be advantageous
• Basic development skills would be advantageous

Key Performance Areas:
• PC literate
• Experience with software package such as MS Word/Excel, email etc.
• Analytical an problem solving skills
• Test plan and case creation
• Experience in test complete

Daily duties would include
• Participate in daily SCRUM sessions
• Execution of test cases
• Setup and maintain own testing environment
• Log issues and test results through the bug tracking system
• Liaison with Business Analysts, Developers and Call Centre
