• Quality Engineering Diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in Quality
• ISO/ITS 16949 Core Tools and Auditing
• A minimum of 1 year’s quality experience in a production environment
• A working knowledge in analytical fault detection and basic root cause analysis
• Read and understand technical drawings
• Use of measuring equipment: Sliding Force Gauge, Tapered Gauge, Vernier Callipers, Feeler Gauge, Measuring Tape
• SPC, calculate compliance
• Check product dimensions
• Deciding and Initiating action
• Ability to analyse down to root cause and the effectiveness of actions
• Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations
• Working with People
• Implement controls to identify problems and reports on actions plans
• Participate in FMEA and Control Plan meetings and actively contribute
• Regular process audits as per schedules for the purpose of compliance to work instructions
• Organise, motivate and control all process activities of the Final Product Auditors
• Organise, motivate and control all activities of the measurement system at Widney
• Have regular discussions with production personnel and record ideas and suggestions for improvements
• Control of work instructions through updating, auditing and reporting
• Ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
• Assist the Quality Engineer with PPAP sample documentation
• Partake in external audits ie: IATF16949, ISO14001 and Customer specific audits
