My client, a trusted leader in generic pharmaceuticals is recruiting for a QA Pharmacist to join their professional team based in Cape-Town. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the final product release to market and that good manufacturing practice is followed across the department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the release to market process
• Conduct batch release reviews and approve final product release to the market as per the legal requirements and guidelines set by the MCC and the Department of Health
• Ensure that the companies’ marketed products comply with the medicine registration.
• Ensure the timeous testing for post importation requirements and documentation thereof with contract laboratories
• Review and approve bulk material inspections before packaging and liaise with contractors, maintain registers
• Good Manufacturing Process
• Preparation, compiling and maintenance and review of new business development projects


Requirements:
• BPharm registered with the SA Pharmacy Council
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a quality control or quality assurance position
