QA/QC MANAGER (CIVIL) – NORTHERN CAPE (Preferably EE)

Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a QA/QC MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• B. Eng or B.Sc. or B. Tech/N. Dip in Civil Engineering from ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) accredited tertiary institution.
• 5 years' experience in civil construction of Renewable Energy projects, preferably in Solar Energy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
• Computer literacy with good numeracy skill;
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Records related to quality;
• Conduct a final validation of the keystone using a final inspection checklist.
• Report deviations and non - conformances to the Quality Manager and decide on corrective action in consultation with the Quality Manager.
• Maintain all quality documentation as per the Integrated Quality Management System on a daily basis:
• Support the Quality Documents Manager in ensuring timeous submission of quality documentation by the concrete tower supplier and maintaining of the document filling system
• Review the concrete tower supplier's quality documentation and report deviations.
• Complete the Final Inspection quality documentation and report deviations and ensure corrective action is taken by supplier.
