QA/QC MANAGER
An exciting opportunity exists at a well-established label printing company for a QC/QA manager. This busy 24/7 Cape Town based company would like to employ a candidate who will report to the Operations Director and will manage the complete quality assurance function and who will be expected to maintain and continuously improve the existing quality management system in their busy environment. Quality Control 40% of this position.

The successful candidate will have:

• Essential is a recognized quality and/or packaging-related qualification
• At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience (preferably in an FMCG environment), of which 2 years must be in a QA/QC management position, in an environment where the quality assurance system is fundamental to its strategy
• A proven track record of a quality system implementation
• The ability to focus on and complete programmes and tasks
• Superior knowledge of ISO
• Excellent training and coaching skills

Highly advantageous is exposure to and/or experience in HACCP/BRC systems.

This is a hands-on role in a team environment where the QA/QC combination is critical. The ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet and have excellent customer relationship focus.
