QA Responsible Pharmacist - Sandton

Sandton based company requires a QA Responsible Phramcist to join their team urgently. Job Purpose: To ensure compliance to all QA systems and to maintain and update current and new technical changes in line with MCC guidelines. All functions relating to Responsible Pharmacist. Required Learning: • Bachelor of Pharmacy with registration with the South African Pharmacy Council • 3-5 years work experience in a Pharmaceutical environment (preferably generics) • Excellent understanding of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and relevant current Medicine Regulatory Authority guidelines • Good understanding of registration process • Experience in auditing of manufacturing facilities • An integral understanding of GMP, Good Clinical and Good Research Practices • Leadership and Project Management Skills • Technical skills Key Job Outputs: • Control and manage the new product portfolio as well as current product range in terms of implementation and updates to artwork. • Control the release of promotional and printed Marketing material • Conduct and periodic and annual audits as per defined audit schedule • Manage the release for sale of current and pipeline products • Provide technical and analytical support as and when required • Manage and maintain where necessary a stability program on both locally manufactured and overseas supplied product portfolio. • Formalise and implement change control on both current and new registrations • Assist with maintenance and control of company SOP’s • Handle and manage consumer complaints • Do periodic documentation reviews and/or mock recalls • Assist Regulatory department with MCC responses as and when required • All functions relating to Responsible pharmacist. Core Competencies: • Accurate/concise and analytical minded • Ability to operate independently • Understanding of global and local QA regulations • Results driven and able to manage multiple projects • Ability to interact with ease with Business Executives (internal and external) and as well as government and global role players • Attention to detail Salary & Benefits: • R38 - R40k - Highly Negotiable • Medical Aid and Provident Fund • Normal working hours - Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
