QC Superintendent R 25-35 000 Basic (Depending On Experience)
Our client is looking to fill the post of QC Superintendent with a candidate from a technical/artisan background (welding essential). 5 years at a supervisory level with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings (a candidate who has moved from a fitter/turner/welder/boilermaker artisan to quality is ideal). Knowledge of the use and application of measuring equipment. Good knowledge of welding procedures, processes, ISO 9000 quality management systems and computer literate in Word and Excel. You will report to and be 2ic to the QA Manager. You must be experienced in managing the calibration of measuring equipment, manage subordinates (2), manage QC documentation, data books, QCP’s, drawing audits and manage QC reports like inspection records, NDT reports, manage the NCR Process in the workshop, manage the auditing of the QMS, liaise with production iro. QC inspectors and manage supplier quality, goods receiving inspection, supplier QCP. You should have completed accredited internal audit and Quality management system courses.
