The position of the position within the company is to provide assistance either to the Quantity Surveyor, Planner or an Estimator in carrying out the duties assigned to them.

Qualified or studying towards Quantity Surveying qualification

3 month contract

Based in Isipingo, Durban

To start mid February 2017

Salary – R20 000 ctc

Minimum 2 years experience site admin experience

Excel advanced

RESPONSIBILITES

Responsibilities will be provide a support and assistance role to a Quantity Surveyor, Planner or Estimator in carrying out their specified duties. As such detailed responsibilities shall be in line with those defined for these positions.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Honesty, Integrity are critical to the position and the ability of management to trust the job incumbent is essential.

The Technician reports to the Manager responsible for the Quantity Surveyor, Planner or Estimator as appropriate.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of the N.E.C conditions of contract is required (in the event of replacement)

Computer literate on MS Word and Excel (or able to attain the required computer literacy within a reasonable and stipulated period)

Be able to work methodically and accurately with above average attention to detail

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the Mechanical Services (Power Generation and or Petro Chemical industries) is preferred.
