Well established Plumbing Company based in Pretoria East is looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber to join their elaborate team is assisting valuable clients with installation and repairs of pipes, fixtures and general plumbing assignments.  The fortunate candidate must be qualified and hold a valid driver’s license.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Matric



• Appropriate plumbing qualification



• Must be able to produce certificate on request

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 – 3 years’ experience with in a plumbing environment



• Understanding of plumbing requirements



• Must be proficient in English and Afrikaans

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other

Plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings

• Reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems



• Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls



• Ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met



• Efficient completion of any projects



• Ensure that all water supply networks and waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety



• Identify required tools and special equipment



• Select the type and size of pipe required



• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures



• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment



• Assemble and install valves and fittings



• Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls



• Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems



• Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets



• Install, repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners



• Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim



• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks



• Maintain all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation
