Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:

• Control, maintain and draft quality standards and procedures, as well as problem solving and quality assurance tasks for Krugersdorp and Springs
• Analysis of Data using Microsoft Excel
• Identify actual or potential problems and to initiate remedial or preventative measures
• Accurate document control; Identify, collect, distribute and maintain all quality control documents
• Establish acceptance and rejection criteria for all in-house and vendor supplied products
• Ensure the production of high quality outputs
• Train and develop all employees to be quality conscious
• Liaising with all departments on Quality Assurance aspects
• Maintain a high level of communication with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager as well as Quality Control Supervisors in both Krugersdorp and Springs plants
• Liaise with Process Engineering and Design and Development as well as the QA Testing Lab and QC Department
• Perform twice yearly internal audits as per internal ISO 9001 requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the above criteria and possess the following characteristics and attributes:

• Matric
• A technical qualification is advantageous
• A suitable management qualification is advantageous
• 3 years on the job experience
• Technical drawing know-how is a must
• Must be able to use a varied degree of measuring equipment
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 standard is a must
• ISO 9001:2008 Internal and Supplier Auditor Course is advantageous
• Above average ability to read and write in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft office, which must include Excel
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a fixed employment requirement within the Group
