Quality Assurance Pharmacist needed in Centurion
Qetello Holdings represents a Pharmaceutical company seeking to employ an experienced Quality Assurance Pharmacist who will lead all Quality activities in accordance with GMP and operational requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to the Quality System, through SOP’s, Directives, etc; and execute day-to-day Quality Operations for the respective divisions
• Ensure the timeous Market release of products,
• Ensure consistent compliance to all quality activities relating to Local opportunities,
• Repackaging and Relabelling.
• Liaise optimally with product testing laboratories, to ensure quicker turnaround times of results to release products.
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs and 3rd parties on the execution of QC work on all artwork, and the retention of copies of approved printed packaging materials (package inserts, cartons, labels) for Final Product Release purposes.
• Ensure appropriate transportation and warehousing (Good Warehousing Practice & Good Distribution Practice) activities of all the products.
• Perform Audits on all third-party contractors in accordance with the documented schedule.
• Handle Product Technical Complaints and Quality related queries, and the recording thereof of all products within the relevant databases; including patient support programs.
• Ensure regular GMP / Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Training Sessions with the relevant parties
• Maintain a robust Local Change Management System
• Maintain effective relationships with colleagues, healthcare professionals, third party service providers and regulatory authorities.
The following requirements are a prerequisite to be considered for the position:
• B.Pharm and registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist
• At least 3-5 years QA experience in the pharmaceutical environment
• Good QMS experience and training in the pharma industry
• Experience in compiling and implementing SOP’s within a pharmaceutical organisation is preferred
