• QUALITY CONTROL WORK DONE AT MEDUPI SITE ( ELLISRAS / LEPHALALE)
• GRADE 12
• TRADE TEST WELDER / BOILERMAKER
• EXP IN POWER STATIONS ESSENTIAL AS QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
• VERIFICATION OF WELDER QUALIFICIATIONS
• LIAISON BETWEEN CLIENT AND MANAGEMENT AT SITE OFFICE
• Verification of Welder Qualifications and associated documentation; WPS and PQR, etc as per client protocol on sub-contractors
• ITP compilation, review and submittal to client for approval
• On a need basis assist and support Vendor/Supplier inspection schedule for vendors in Lephalale
• Liaison with MET (Client) concerning Quality on site
• Liaise with all COMPANY internal stakeholders in resolving bottlenecks in the expediting of
Quality matters on the project
• Compilation and review of ITPs and databooks respectively
• Generate NCRs for substandard work and follow up closure of same
• Generate reports for every final inspection conducted
• Generate a quality report every week for area in charge
• Involve and escalate issues or bottlenecks which may risk project timelines to Quality
Manager and Site Manager
Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a racially diverse and multidisciplinary team
• Good report writing skills
• General proficiency in MS Excel/Word/ Powerpoint.
