The successful candidate: Would have implemented and monitored active Quality system in a multi-national contracting or manufacturing company. Have experience in Project Management, Quality Management, Auditing, and having worked in a Site Agent environment. Project management skills; Business acumen;
Formal Risk Management training and ISO Training; RCA and investigations; Analytical with strict adherence to rules and excellent communication skills.

Reports to: Group Risk/SHERQ Manager.

Primary purpose:
Developing our client to become world class through the development and implementation of Quality management systems
Group Quality Management objectives are achieved globally and within each different business unit; ensuring that the established quality principles are applied throughout the group.

Job description / core competencies:
1. Incident Management;
2. Operational wagon wheel;
3. Reporting: quarterly reports, monthly reports, weekly reports; daily checklist for operations to be implemented. (Verification) Report on: Production information; critical information; T/P cutter; penetration; monthly comms audit report; Incidents - costs involved, transport, parts, labour and production standing hours; Equipment report, Site visits to two different sites a month.
4. Month end checklists.
5. Operational training
6. Machine authorisation audits
7. Quality Assurance function - QA on selected sites regarding process flow.

Quality Management:
Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produce data and report on performance;
Measuring against set indicators;
Provide a formal communication channel to ensure that ISO3001:2000 QMS is maintained;
QMS performance;
Incident reporting;
Benchmarking QMS and ensuring implementation of best practice;
Ensure compliance with ISO 9000;
Adhere to Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Standards.

Quality Assurance:
Contribute to gathering of customer feedback to ensure that customers satisfaction with the delivery of QA services;
Participate in the implementation of appropriate quality management to ensure that customers satisfied with the delivery of quality assurance services;
Contribute to the development and implementation of knowledge management for the discipline;
Continually identify and report improvement opportunities;
Provide relevant and specialised quality assurance services to customers;
Manage internal and external relations to ensure that quality assurance standards are met;
Provide quality assurance on all projects within the project management office at all stages of the project life cycle;

Resources:
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities;
Execute responsibilities according to the guidelines and standards for quality assurance.

Ensure that the quality management services delivered by the project management office are fit for purpose:
Meets both external and internal requirements;
Coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards;
Implement total quality management methodologies;
Participate in the implementation of appropriate quality management systems to ensure delivery of high quality projects.

Quality system:
Develop and maintain a quality system to ensure that all materials purchased and all products manufactured meet customer and company specifications;
Identify service performance improvement opportunities associated with area of responsibility.

Managing QC resources:
Ensure the effective implementation of the project quality control plan in terms of vendor control, site quality control and internal/external audits.
Training of QA technicians;
Contribute to the development and implementation of knowledge management for the discipline;
Continually identify and report improvement opportunities.

Compliance, Governance and Assurance:
Quality manager will be part of verifying compliance;
Implementing and maintaining the quality management system to meet ISO9001, ISO18001 and ISO14001.

Investigating customer complaints and doing your best to put right all justified complaints. Meeting the requirements of clients, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. Maintaining transparent, consultative relationships with all stakeholders; including customers and suppliers through effective communication channels. Conforming to the latest version of applicable standards when implementing and maintaining quality management systems that drive continual improvement. Considering customer needs and expectations of the quality of the product when conducting refining operations and processes. Provide the necessary resources to ensure product quality meets and/or exceeds agreed customer expectations. Ensuring that set objectives are understood, reviewed and communicated throughout the company - Zero Harm - Integrity, honesty, trust - Transparancy - Employee selfworth - Cost effective.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Highly skilled in problem assessment, process and supplier audits, QMS systems management, optimisation of quality standards and procedures, establishing of priorities,
delegating tasks, leadership supervision, motivating teams to achieve results and an innovative solution provider. As well as proven ability to manage and complete projects to the highest standards.
• Conforming to the latest version of applicable standards when implementing and maintaining quality management systems that drive continual improvement.
• Developed, documented, implemented, trained and audited the following systems: ISO9001, ISO18001 and ISO14001,
• Designed, implemented and monitored active Quality system in a multi-national contracting or manufacturing company.
• Experience in the Project Management, Auditing, Quality Management and Site Agent environment.
• Experience in different industry regulated standards would be advantageous.
• Ability to easily establish and maintain solid and effective business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Qualification: Technical or commercial/ financial degree or a formal qualification in Quality
• Management. 5 to 10 years with diverse industry experience & exposure.
• Project Management skills, business acumen, formal risk management training, ISO training, RCA & investigations and auditing. Analytical with strict adherence to rules and excellent communication skills.
