Quality Control Officer - Construction
Junior Engineer
Our client, a leader in the commercial construction sector within South Africa requires a Quality Control Officer/Junior Engineer .
This is a one year contract position.
Please note that this position is site based in Atlantis and the successful candidate will need to travel to various sites to Audit and assist with documentation control.
Know and understand Client & Project quality requirements and specifications
Assure that supplier corrective action plans are developed and implemented effectively
Prepare Quality Assurance Plans for contract
Conduct inspections for planned works
Collecting test results and determining trends
Ensure the control of monitoring of measuring and test equipment with calibration schedule
Formulate schedule for inspections
Conduct monthly quality audit on contract
Complete monthly quality report for Head Office
Identify and investigate Quality problems
Evaluate validity and acceptability of inspection results
Manage and take responsibility for NCR process
Manage and take responsibility of site processes and site document control
Must have a Matric
Must possess the necessary Diploma/Degree in respct of Quality Control/Engineering
Must have ISO 9001 working experience and knowledge, including implemention of ISO 19001
A min of 3 Years’ working experience in the construction industry
Market Related Salary.
