QUALITY CONTROLLER / INSPECTOR

Period –Commencing 1 November 2016/December 2020
Location – Lephalale, must be willing to relocate
Project – SIMS (Structural Integrity Management projects)

PURPOSE: To monitor and control the quality of the Corrosion and Concrete rehabilitation projects within Grootegeluk's SIMS programme.

MAJOR CHALLENGES: • Active involvement in ensuring the contractor meets it's monthly targets
• Management of the relevant QCP and associated documentation • Active involvement in ensuring Quality Assurance standards are adhered to.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: [ONLY SEND CV IF YOU COMPLY]

Staff will preferably be qualified in terms of the South African Qualification and Certification Committee for Corrosion
{SAQCC (Corrosion Inspector's Lvl 1 and 2)} or equivalent (NACE CIP lvl 1) - Desirable

3 Years - Experience in working as a corrosion protection applicator
[Team/Leader/Supervisor] – Essential/Minimum
AND/OR
4 Years - Experience as a corrosion protection or concrete rehabilitation inspector
[Team/Leader/Supervisor] – Essential/Minimum
