QUALITY ENINGEER (AUTOMOTIVE)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Formal Quality qualifications in System Auditing
Minimum 5 years experience in the quality environment
Ability to communicate well at all levels
Well presented as always dealing with management both internal and external
Technically skilled
Computer literate
Working knowledge of 'SPC' activities
Working knowledge of QS 9000, VDA 6.1, ISO 9002 requirements
KEY RESULTS AREAS:
Responsible for the auditing activities, both internal and external with aim/objective to continuously improve the quality systems and the effectiveness thereof.
With the aim/objective of developing sub-suppliers to achieving set goals/objectives, to be achieved by working together with all departments/suppliers
DUTIES:
To plan, lead, organise and control activities in the following areas: Quality auditing (internal and external)
i.e. Process, Product, System and Project audits / Receiving Inspection - Vendor Performance rating, Problem solving, Supplier controls
Initiate and co-ordinate the required corrective action plans
Develop sub-suppliers into achieving a level of supply confidence e.g. ISO 9000, ISO1400/1, VDA 6.1, QS 9000, TS 16949 where required
Participating in project development activities (internal and external) e.g. PSW, APQP Inspection criteria SC's/CC's etc
Liaison with foremen / managers regarding any non conformance and/or system/process control improvements which can be improved on
Submission of monthly reports on the progress status relating to all above activities
Participate in quality training activities
