The successful candidate will take up the role of a Quality Engineer (QAVAC) to ensure that problem analysis are done to the required Group guideline and meets the customer’s expectations. The QA Engineer has to clearly define and coordinate corrective action implementation.

Job Description and Responsibilities
• Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated problems
• Leading cross functional teams when required
• Series monitoring of electrical / electronic features and functions
• Presentation of findings / reports at various forums
• Interfacing with various departments within the company
• Liaising with overseas counterparts with regards to build/quality matters
• Developing test methods and plans for new features and technologies
• Monitoring projects (model year, face lift, new model) to ensure that the Analysis
• Centre is prepared (equipment and test plans) for model introduction
• Acquisition and maintenance of test equipment
• Creation of prototype test aids, jigs and fixtures (e.g. 3D printing)

Education and Experience
Have a minimum National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics
Have 3 – 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry

PREFERRED:
BSc. Degree Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics)
In addition to the ND/Degree, an Electrical or Mechanical trade would be advantageous

Skills, Attributes & Other requirements
Have proven analytical and problem solving skills
Have report writing and presentation skills
Have applied knowledge in quality tools (SPC, DOE, Pareto, etc.)

PREFERRED:
Experience in engineering packages (CATIA, CAD) would be an advantage
A knowledge of German language would be an advantage
