Job Description

Monitor and control the quality of in-house products
Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of all production series and conduct process approval in project planning
Evaluate any product changes and component inspection plans which must include visual aids
Responsible for compiling control plans, inspection standards, quality instructions, sample data sheets, customer ISIR’s, PSW’s, FMEA as well as PPAP packages
Assist with training with regards to Quality standards
Analyse measurement systems on new projects
Safeguarding reports of completed analysis data
Reporting any activities of non-conformance and countermeasure thereof
Create, structure and implement quality standards of all company products to ensure customer satisfaction
Analyse customer warranties and deal with customer requirements - this includes safeguarding the company’s liability is protected
Control G8D’s which includes a 72 hour response status with relation to warranty claims from customers
Internal auditing which includes auditing project documentation requirements stipulated by the customer
Ensure SHEQ is adhered to as well as regulations and stipulations of TS16949 and ISO14001.
Assist with training with regards to Quality standards
Liaise with supervisor with regards to Audit issues, ISIR, PPAP and Quality Standards or issues
Hold shipment of products if defects exist

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
National Diploma in T3 Mechanical Engineering or at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant industry
Problem solving and analytical skills
Valid driver’s license
