Qualifications

Ideally the successful candidate should possess a Diploma / B.Tech Engineering Technical field or Quality Management; Applicants should have at least 4 years quality management experience in the automotive industry; Experience in the APQP process, strong computer literacy; quality systems proficiency and ERP (SAP) knowledge is essential. If they have assisted with VW projects previously it will be advantageous. Mostly documentation support.

Requirements
The successful candidate will:
Assume quality responsibility for a defined portfolio of products, including customer requirements and specifications, APQP process and customer complaints; Ensuring that customer complaints, and non-conformances are addressed and prevented from re-occurring; Liaise with local canners and OEMs on quality matters, root cause investigations and corrective/preventative action plans; Represent the company in customer quality discussions and advise on specifications; Assume company CCE product responsibility for all products produced for designated customers; Ensure customer requirements are translated effectively and efficiently into internal systems, procedures and specifications. Organise the quality aspects of new product/process introductions, including technology transfer, serial introductions, APQP and PPAP runs; Prepare reports on quality related matters; Provide training to all employees on customer and quality standard requirements.
