Quality Engineer
Established Manufacturing Concern is currently seeking to employ an experienced Quality Engineer.
You will be responsible for leading a small team where you will implement and maintain quality standards, inspection methods. Take responsibility of auditing the company’s various systems and processes. Follow up on audit finding corrections and continuous improvement. Process customer complaints and communicate with customers. Create work instructions and specification sheets. Create reports by collecting, analysing and summarising data.
Improve processes by evaluating data and contributing to improvements. Do measurements on plastic measuring instruments. Verify or calibrate measuring instruments.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with Maths
• Diplomas in Auditing, MSA & TS16949 Management systems
• Practical experience working in an Automotive Production Environment
• 5 years + experience in Quality control
• 2 years + practical experience in Auditing
• 2 years’ experience in preproduction approval processing (ISIR, PPAP, APQP)
• 2 years’ experience SPC, MSA and other quality management tools
• Must have good product testing experience (Tensile testing, pressure testing, MFR)
• Computer literate to intermediate level on MS Office
