International market leader in food and pharmaceutical additive production seeks to employ an experienced Quality Manager in their South African production facility.

Minimum requirements are:
B.Sc. Chemistry or Food Science degree
A minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in the quality management environment of a food processing facility
Excellent people management skills
Highly organised with good computer literacy

Responsibilities will include:
All laboratory and production processes and staff
Maintenance of the SABS mark scheme, ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 systems
Development and implementation of training where required on the factory floor
Equipment calibrations
In-house quality and food safety audits
Management of customer audits
Implementation of action plans from the audits
Compliance with all relevant legislation as per the FCD Act

Experience in Technical Customer Service and product stock control principles will be advantageous.

Annual salary is R500 000 CTC per annum negotiable on experience and includes provident fund and medical aid subsidies.
