Science Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology or applicable qualification,6-8 years’ experience of which at least 5 years in a Managerial position within a Laboratory, QA or Pharmaceutical production environment, Knowledge of quality processes, procedures, techniques and all aspects of validation, Experience in Quality Audits, Experience in multi-departmental projects/ investigations, Sound knowledge of computer systems, Good knowledge and understanding of the SA GMP Guide, WHO, ICH and ISO Standards

The main purpose of the position is to ensure Quality Conformance of all existing consumer finished products and new launches in SA and surrounding countries through implementation and verification of the adapted Quality Systems; to apply consumer Quality Standards and requirements dictated through the Global Specification System; to identify and raise investigations and non-conformances through the company compliance system and to investigate and report consumer complaints through the Global consumer response system.
