Your main function is to take responsibility for the overall objectives of the Quality Department. A Senior Quality Engineer with supervisory skills might also qualify for this position. However, the main concern is that you have existing or can develop relationships with VWSA, FORD (Q1), BMW, can conduct quality audits on ISO 14 001 for Uitenhage plant and see that ISO TS 9001/16949 certificates are maintained. Customer satisfaction is key and project launching will be a key requirement and you must be a VDA 6.3 certified auditor.
