Quality Manager - Port Elizabeth

Key Responsibilities

  • The management and supervision of staff within the Quality department 

  • Customer Concerns

  • Lead G8D Problem Solving

  • Reporting on the Closing out of G8D Action Items and Phases

  • Monitoring Customer PPM

  • Implementing and Maintaining a systematic layout inspection for all parts

  • Conducting Internal systems and process audits

  • Closure of customer findings

  • Leading investigations for quality projects

  • Generating Quality Control Documents

  • Updating Quality Related Documents

  • Monitoring SPC

  • Co-ordinating QA Inspector Activities

  • Maintain ISO/TS 16949 System

  • Interpreting Quality Data and implementing corrective action

  • Reporting to Directors 


  • Minimum of 3 years management experience 

  • 5 years experience in a TS 16949 environment

  • Proven Application of problem solving techniques, internal auditing

  • Knowledge of SPC interpretation and implementation

  • G8D’s, TS16949

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency, CMM Measurements

  • Drawing Interpretation

  • Six Sigma Green Belt

  • B- Tech or Equivalent
