QUALITY SCHEME MANAGER
EGYPT

Requirements:
- Candidates with at least a diploma or equivalent with minimum of 2 years in experience in the agricultural industry OR University graduate with a minimum duration of 2 years in a
food-related discipline .
- Experience management systems (e.g.: ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 22000, OSHAS 18000), BRC Food, IFS Food, previous GLOBALGAP.
- Successful completion of a Lead Assessor training course based on ISO 19011 principles
- Training in HACCP principles, Food hygiene, GLOBALGAP ,

Skills:
- Technical knowledge in a given sub-scope
- Ability to identify food safety risks/food hazards
- Ability to evaluate the HACCP system and identify/challenge critical control points
- Up-to-date knowledge of plant protection, fertilizer applications and IPM principles (for Crops)
- Ability to carry out trace ability checks and mass balance analyses
- Wherever the control point refers to local legislation, knowledge of the relevant requirements. Having the sufficient communication & behavioral skills as to be able to conduct
assessment

Duties will include:
- Committed to assisting in any harmonization activities performed by GLOBALGAP. Secretariat,
- Responsible for communication and administration of users within the GLOBALGAP. System,
- Distribute all communication received from the GLOBALGAP. Secretariat to all HEIA Cert staff involved in GLOBALGAP. Activities in all countries,
- Respond to GLOBALGAP. Operational enquirers as required in the communication,
- Responsible for returning to the GLOBALGAP. Secretariat the requested signed reception of any communication requiring a written receipt,
- Attend the annual Scheme Manager (Update) meeting (yearly task),
- Shall not involve or be a part of the decision on Certification process, Maybe act as GLOBALGAP. Inspector/Auditor, Maybe the same person as the in-house trainer,
- To produce timely and accurate reports in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065 requirements and GLOBALGAP. Timelines and system requirements,To carry out any other tasks may
assign outside the scope of GLOBALGAP. So long as these activities do not contradict ISO/IEC 17065 or any stipulation set down by GLOBALGAP.
