Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Quality Supervisor – Animal Feeds to be appointed in Bethlehem, Free State

Key Performance Areas
• Assist with sample analyses tests as required (LECO, NIR, Presica, Save Tests, Phenol Red, FFA's etc.)
• Capture analytical results and ensure test instructions up to date
• Schedule and evaluate lab cleaning program
• Arrange maintenance on laboratory facility (air conditioning, filters etc.)
• Arrange for control samples for equipment (e.g. EDTA, code zero samples and raw material control samples)
• Update calibration records in equipment files
• Perform task evaluation on quality controllers
• Ensure that all external samples are collected and send to external laboratories as per schedules
• Ensure correct raw material sampling procedure execution (sampling and preparation) are performed by quality controller (Raw Materials)
• Active role as HACCP team member
• Report and investigate non-conforming products and results
• Maintain non-conforming product statistics

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• 3 Years' experience in an Animal Feed manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of Food Safety, ISO, and OHSE
• Knowledge of Excel
• Problem solving and Crisis management
• Must be pro-active
• Willing to work overtime
