QUALITY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Fair Cape Dairies, a progressive manufacturer of dairy products has an opportunity available for a Quality Systems Administrator at its facility situated in Killarney Gardens.

Purpose of this position: To co-ordinate and control all activities pertaining the effective functioning of the Quality Assurance systems including document control and auditing.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
? Ensuring Food Safety best practices and new technology is researched to ensure we apply best practices at all times.
? Developing and maintaining all Quality document systems.
? Ensuring that HACCP/ISO standards are documented and available to all relevant role players.
? Conducting process audits.
? Supporting all Quality staff to conduct regular internal GMP & Hygiene audits.
? Developing audit documentation.
? Ensuring daily taste panels are setup and scores are recorded.
? Attending bi-weekly technical meetings with suppliers.
? Ensuring supplier QC samples are prepared and distributed.
? Managing all suppliers and Fair Cape Dairies customers’ complaints.
? Monitoring all return to manufacturing products (monthly).
? Maintaining the quality risk register.
? Coordinating pest control contractor and ensure compliance in regards with requirements for Pest Control standards.
? Assisting with ad hoc task and projects when required.
? Ensuring all supplier specifications is captured and internal requirements are met.
? Participating and reporting MDWT Level 1 & 2 meetings and Level 3 meetings when required.
? Ensuring timeous reports on Quality Assurance results for all facilities.
? Identifying risks and takes calculated risks.
Minimum Requirements:
? Matric with a qualification in food technology or food science or Dairy specific Diploma.
? Quality and Food Safety Management Systems Certificate.
? Lead Auditors Certificate.
? Strong knowledge of information management or document control systems is necessary.
? You will need exceptional attention to detail and high proficiency in English language.
? A high proficiency level in using software and information technology such as managing Excel spreadsheets and Power-Point presentations.
? Solid planning and organizational skills are also required.
