An well established Engineering Consultancy, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor that will be required to conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs. Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.

Job Description
Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
Liaise with engineer’s representatives, site agents and subcontractors
Conduct risk analysis evaluations
Prepare contract related documentation
Prepare subcontractor claims
Prepare and submit claims for payment and variation orders
Prepare and analyse costing for tenders
Prepare cost reports, tender evaluation and sub-contractor appointment schedule for approval
Conduct feasibility studies
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
At least 8 - 12 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Multidisciplinary and Infrastructure project environment within the Civil industry would be advantageous
Relevant knowledge of Railway Infrastructure Projects
Thorough understanding of contract and tender documentation, conditions of contracts including GCC, FIDIC and COLTO, along with measuring systems including SANS and COLTO.
