Quantity Surveyor

We are searching for a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction company. The ideal candidate must meet the set criteria below:

Requirements

• + 10 years QS and Contractual experience
• BS Degree or B Tech in Quantity Surveying
• CCS (candy ) knowledge non negotiable
• Traceable references of previous projects and companies
• Drivers licence
• Available Immediately

• Numeracy
• A good working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to use the CCS software
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Teamplayer
• The ability to negotiate
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

Responsibilities

• price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
• procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
• measure and value the work done on site
• Prepare the subcontractor payments
• liaise with the client and other construction professionals
• Prepare and submit the relevant reports
