What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the automotive manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Liaise with Customer on Spec
* Work with CAD Models to Develop Physical Models
* Design for Manufacture
* Setup Manufacturing Process and Operation
* Ensure Quality and Deal with Customer Quality Issues

Key Job Deliverables:

* Manage the Development of New Plastics Components
* Ensure New Components are Efficient Manufactured
* To Ensure Quality Production

Background work experience:

* 2 years Mechanical Engineering
* 2 years Spec Development
* 2 years R&D or new product Design
* 2 years Project Management
* BTech - Mechanical Engineering or Similar
* Understanding of the R&D Process
* Basic Mechanical engineering design, CAD
* Working with customer to develop a product specification
* Development of new products
* Managing projects and new initiatives
* Advantageous: Specific Automotive Component R&D experience

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R450K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
