PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)

Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. 15 000 - 27 875 Qatari Riyals per month. 27 875 QR is +/- 5970 GBP / 6700 EUR / 7600 USD. Salary paid in QR.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Radiochemistry, Radio pharmacy Science, Chemical Engineering, Bio Engineering, Bio Medical Engineering

Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable and should be eligible for license in Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health

Minimum Experience: (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

5 years experience in Radio pharmacy production


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Position Summary:

The primary purpose of Radio-chemist position is responsible for manufacturing and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) undergoing clinical and preclinical research protocols.

Principal Accountabilities:

Demonstrates knowledge and application of the Employers mission, vision and values.
Develop, Maintain and administer standard operating procedures (SOP) for all Laboratory operations.
Check the quality of raw materials for use in manufacturing and testing. Store all materials according to the standard operating procedure (SOP) and maintain materials specification book.
In Charge of releasing products for distribution and patient administration.
Assure quality products using established specifications.
Administer the Installation Qualification Operational Qualification Performance Qualification (IQOQPQ) system.
Operates, maintains, calibrates automated, semi-automated radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control equipment, and performs equipment and process validation.
Maintain production testing batch and raw materials records.
Act as the radiation safety officer for the Cyclotron facility (on-call service).
Administer GMP program for the Cyclotron Facility.
Authorize the release of the product for patient use.
Complies with the Employers policies and procedures, and in particular infection control safety, and quality management.
Performs other duties as requested.
