Job Description:
The Miner will provide Leadership and Direction to his team. Ensuring his operating team understand the main objectives and expectation of performance levels in achieving daily targets as set out while upholding safety requirements and standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Determining staff and material needed to achieve daily target.
• Supervise and Coordinate the activities of his team.
• Establishing the required methods needed to meet his work schedule.
• Be able to report accurately to managerial and technical personnel.
• Declare the work area safe and hard free.
• Guide his team to mine Online and on Reef.

Minimum Requirements:
• 10 years’ underground experience in the mining of gold.
• 5 years’ experience in the Development of Raise-Line underground sections.
• Competent A and B MQA Certificates.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Blasting Certificate.

Other Competencies and Skills:
• Ability to Communicate.
• Take initiative and being Dynamic.
• Pay Attention to detail and accuracy in mining methods used.
• Be open to recommendations on measures to improve productivity.

Duration: Limited to Operational Requirements, Subject to passing Security Screening and Medical Examination.
Package: R 20 000.00 gross payable Monthly on or before the last day of each month.
(**Monthly remuneration of R 20 000.00. will include a housing allowance of R1500.00)
