Established and growing concern

Requirements: Min 10 years experience with Raschell Knitting Machines (Karl Mayer and/or Liba), with at least 4 in a managerial capacity
Appropriate Qualification
Stable track record with contactable references
Solid managerial skills and people management skills (108 and growing staff compliment)
Solid planning and organisational skills
Production Planning skills

Duties will include but not limited to the following :
Manage the knitting department
Manage the relevant data capturing
Production planning
Preventative maintenance - Install and monitor maintenance programmes if knitting machines
Manage and maintain stock levels of all machine spares
Manage H R function for department
Oversee technicians / quality controllers and monitor their workload and ensure that all work is carried out to required standards with minimum downtime
Monitor and maintain quality standards. Liaison with quality control department
Liaise with inspection department regarding quality and situation regarding orders
Liaise with extrusion regarding supply of Mono to Knitting
Ensure smooth running and required levels of machines, employees
Production out-put
Compliance with health and safety
Management of stock control
WIP control
Manage training within the knitting department of learners/operators
Oversee shift system and monitor staff compliment
Manage and implement projects to improve profit / efficiency
Computer literate (SYSPRO system)
Manage housekeeping
Management of waste control
Ensure proper planning is maintained to achieve maximum efficiency from machines and staff
Maintain production plan and liaise with sales department regarding that.
