Leading food manufacturer is seeking a Raw Materials Manager to take full responsibility Operations Agenda and ensuring efficient and best practice development of the intake/ storage management, of goods and materials.

Requirements:

• Experience of FMCG manufacturing – preferably high volume food manufacturing
• Knowledge of advanced food hygiene and Health and Safety requirements in food manufacturing
• A Food/ Production/ Stores/ Logistics related qualification
• 3-5 years’ experience within FMCG Fresh Foods industry.
• PC Literacy.
• Valid Driver’s License – Motor Car.

Some duties:

• Take full responsibility for identifying raw material requirements, managing bulk materials to agreed stock levels.
• Daily compliance with Order Level requirements (through management of their stock and teams).
• Deliver product quality standards through operations/ maintenance of the Receiving Area, Cold Stores, Receiving yard and Teams.
• Maintain product quality through utilization of suitable handling and storage regimes, distressed stock management including timely communication and ensuring full traceability.
• Record and communicate the daily/ weekly variance data information including cost prices.
