Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12
• PPIM/ Certificate in Logistics/National Diploma
• 3 – 5 Years Stores/Logistics experience & Supervisory Experience
• 2 Years experience in a FMCG / Sterile Environment would be advantageous
• Highly Computer literate
• Doc Compliance and Process Compliance working knowledge an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that all required materials are available on time as per the production plan
• Ensure downtime reduction targets are met, that departmental visual performance measures are maintained and updated and strive to achieve agreed lead time.
• Reduce waste by managing obsolescence, shrinkage, expired material daily cycle counts, bi-annual stock takes and accurate inventory management
• Ensure that raw material, packing materials and consumables are received as per GMP requirements
• Handle the different categories of materials as per procedure and monitor stock levels in the store
• Evaluate or assess Material Handling Equipment to improve output and reduce cost.
• Ensure that SOP’s are updated, staff is certified competent to prescribed GMP levels, staff training is updated and relevant to changes in the material handling and pharmaceutical industry.
• Ensure stock accuracy via cycle and stock counts and picking is done as per requirements
• Assess operational requirements and production needs against stores operating plan.
• Ensure that finished goods are transported to Distributors timeously, distribute daily Performance Measures to all customers, Audit inter-department transfers and Baan entries
• Hold regular meetings and feedback sessions with Team Leaders and customers.
• Scrutinize and Initiate Inventory Adjustments and generate supporting reports
• Ensure all relevant SHE requirements are met in line with production/legal requirements as per SOPs
The successful candidate will be expected to work overtime as and when required.
