Employment Equity Position.

Leading FMCG concern is looking for a recently qualified CA (SA) to join them as Financial Controller. This position reports to the Financial Manager.

Minimum requirements:

Qualified CA (SA)
Audit experience gained within the FMCG or Manufacturing environments.

Main duties:

Consolidated working capital analysis and tracking
Weekly cash flow forecast and analysis
Ensuring accounting records are updated and accruals are complete before Management accounts are released
Monthly compiling of provisions and balance sheet review
Reviewing foreign supplier payments reconciliations
Accounting for gains/losses and open FEC's
Audit preparation and ensuring audits are completed within tight deadlines
Balance sheet accounts reconciliation as well as sub-ledger tight deadlines
Ensuring BEE audit is competed timeously and effectively
Drawing up and implementing new standard operating procedures
