Scope & General PurposeTo ensure that all hotel and guest requirements are met and kept at the highest standards of the Royal Portfolio.To ensure that all Front Office personnel are working as a team in order to achieve the purpose of the company. To assiss with overseeing and directing all aspects of FO operations.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo monitor Front office personnel and to ensure that all guests receive prompt, cordial and efficient attention and service throughout the stay.To reconfirm all arrival and departure details with the transfer/ charter companies the day prior, as well on the said day. To coordinate and assist with guest check-ins and departures in a quick, courteous and efficient manner.To ensure that all guest needs are responded to quickly, efficiently and courteously.Ensure all guests’ complaints are resolved quickly, efficiently and courteously.Inform all other operating departments, particularly; Front of House, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Rangers and Kitchen of all Front Office matters concerning them.To ensure the cleanliness of reception area at all timesTo ensure that all repair and maintenance problems needing attention are reported to the relevant parties and ensure that appropriate action is taken.To assist in the co-ordination and preparation of staff rosters and to ensure adequate coverage in all Front Office areas according to occupancy, signed off by Front Office Manager & General ManagerEnsure the maximization of Front Office staff performance.To run morning meeting and ensure that ALL departments understand the expected operations for the day.To ensure that details on day sheet is correct and accurate and capture changes on semper To email day sheets and questionnaire in the morning to the owners and list. To maintain appropriate standards of conduct, uniform and appearance of Front Office employees.To be readily available at all times to deal with problems or complaints.Ensure that all addition activity bookings are dealt with courteously and efficiently.
