Receptionist required for 5* game lodge Mpumalanga R5,000-R6,000 plus benefits. VOCATIONAL DUTIES: 1. To maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic work environment.2. To deal with telephone calls and written communications.3. To provide customer information and book external services.4. To store and handle customer and establishment property.5. To maintain a computerised booking and billing system.6. To deal with the arrival of customers.7. To prepare customer accounts and deal with departures.8. To exchange foreign cash and travellers cheques.9. Meeting, welcoming and orientating all guests to the Lodge.10. To host guests in the evenings. GENERIC DUTIES 1. To deal with emergency situations.2. To maintain a safe and secure working environment.3. To maintain a professional and hygienic personal appearance.4. To deal with customers.5. To communicate effectively with guests, management and colleagues both at the lodges and head office.6. To operate a payment point and process payments.7. To handle and record non-cash payments and refunds.8. To maintain effective working relationships.9. To contribute to the development of self and others. ADDITIONAL DUTIES 1. To promote the company Lodges.2. To carry out any other duties that may be required from time to time.3. Housekeeping duties may be necessary.4. Hosting of guests in the evenings prior and during dinner time.5. Assist guest in the curio shop.6. Assist with month end stock takes if required to do so7. When required to do so assist at the other company Lodges Live in position. Single accommodation with en – suite bathroom.Uniform and three meals a day provided by the CompanyBed night privileges.50% of medical aid and UIF covered by the company.Monthly gratuitiesTransport from the staff village to the lodge and back provided.Salary R 5000 – R6000 neg.
