Receptionist - Sandton - R15 000 pm CTC

Our client, a national retailer, requires the services of a professional and dynamic receptionist at their Sandton head office.

The candidate must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Immaculate appearance and well presented.

PURPOSE
To consistently provide a warm, friendly and efficient reception to clients who phone-in or visit the company

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Reception:
Warmly attend to clients and / or staff in the reception area.
Listen patiently to clients to understand their problem/s, asks them relevant questions and directs them appropriately.
Maintain strict access control – and be vigilant from a security perspective to not allow unauthorized people through, and ensure you assess clients that appear suspicious.
Maintain incoming visitor’s book to demonstrate that clients are distributed fairly.

Switchboard
Answer the switchboard, promptly, and assist the client by diverting the call to the correct employee.
Maintain an incoming call detail sheet to demonstrate that cold calls are distributed fairly.
Divert incoming calls to the night-line at the end of the day.
Report faults on the switchboard and lines to Daniel Solomon.
Admin and General
Order tea coffee [catering] as requested for meetings and clients in the reception area.
Assist with ad hoc Personal Assistant functions e.g. typing, minutes, memos etc.
Booking meeting rooms.
Filing and general administrative duties.
Keeping of electronic diaries as required.
Keep daily stats on client’s calls and visits.
Attend to courier companies by linking them with the relevant staff members.
Assist the Trading Analyst & Facilities Coordinator by liaising with Sandton Management on any facilities issues.
LOCATION
Based at Sandton Head Office.
