KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Perform daily reconciliations of all bank payments across various products for Cash In, Cash Out & Remediation
• Monitoring, recording & investigating exceptions/reconciling items e.g. unposted cash, cheques, returned payments, bounces and refunds etc.
• Manage day to day BAU activities on the suspense account to ensure that the customers are treated fairly
• Assist in other Adhoc duties such as, exporting daily reports, Suspense account reconciliations, and investigations
• Daily postings into Accpac accounting system
• Update & report weekly Suspense KPI’s
• Provide Adhoc financial & analytical support to the FinOps function by gathering data from our various in house database systems, and liaising with our Business Intelligence team to streamline & automate our reporting
• Other duties will also include, preparation of Department (FinOps) monthly management pack, which includes producing various statistical information using intermediate/advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Identify any risks and issues, and escalate where necessary, within Reconciliation or Suspense items
• Produce month end reconciliation numbers for Financial Accountant
• Take on additional Managerial duties from Reconciliation Manager where necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Must have 2-4 years’ Reconciliations experience in a Financial Services organisation.
• Intermediate/Advanced in MS Excel – Able to work with & produce complex formulas on large volumes of data.
• Proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint.
• Will be using our bespoke system so must have experience using a number of different systems.
• Ability to analyze & interpret large volumes of data, paying particular attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• A flexible person who likes a challenge in a rewarding environment, and able to perform under pressure & to tight deadlines, whilst dealing with high volumes of transactions.
• Must be able to communicate to a high standard both written & verbally.
