We are looking for a strong, experienced Recruitment Officer for our client, a large FMCG manufacturing company with its Head Office in Midrand. The position reports to the Senior Human Resources Manager and the position will be based in Midrand.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in HR/Social Sciences or related field will be advantageous
• Minimum of 8 years’ working experience in general recruitment
• Exposure to psychometric assessments and assessment centres advantageous
• Clear criminal record
• Own reliable transport
• Ability to travel within South Africa

Responsibilities will include:
• Recruitment & Selection
• Administration of recruitment process
• Training where needed for HR officers on recruitment process and procedures

Required competencies:
• Good written and oral communication
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Confidentiality
• Time management
• Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule, and produce accurate results.
• Work independently, exercising effective judgment and initiative.
• Systematic, hands-on and innovative approaches to all facets of his/her work.
• Be goal orientated, stable, show integrity and be able to make decisions under pressure.
• Must have a pro-active problem solving approach and initiate corrective action to eliminate deviations.
• Be familiar with and stay updated on changes in basic labour legislation:
- Basic conditions of employment act
- Labour relations act
- Employment equity legislation

We are looking for a driven, assertive person who is business-minded and has a passion for getting the job done! Please note that some domestic travel to the branches within South Africa will be required, so you should be willing and able to travel.

Salary offered is R18 000 – R20 000 CTC per month, plus full large company benefits. Please note that this offering will be negotiable for the right candidate.
